Urbanears The Movie:

My favorite Headphone company turned to Pixlfamily to produce a promotion move that would show their playfulness, color”blam” and the more serious technical/inventive side. I got involved at a early stage with filmer and director Henrik Rostrup to develop the concept of the movie. We worked together to come up with a visual look. By replacing the expensive studio and 100% fixed script with tons of props and a machine-like “Light/Camera/Set” that we could play with as the filming went on I think the playful approach of the production came across nice in the end result. We had one day of shooting the 4 movies. After a “long” day at the playground we finally had the shoots we needed. Great fun!

LG | Creating life for the Kingdom.

Y&R New York and Northkingdom was working on a campaign for LG that should be based around a “Good News” billboard on Time Square that inhabited a character called Mr Gil. Robert at NK started of the pitch with images of a old character I made for a Ingemar Backman graphic on Allainsnowboards a long time ago. And after as far as i understand lots of different illustrations and character suggestions from Mr sponge to cute manga inspired characters Mr Gil started to turn more and more Gorg like…1 month before deadline i got involved to make a real version of Mr Gil. During that process he got the final Gorg DNA. Now they are almost as brothers.

Stockholm Quality Outlet | Huge white “REAL” logos.

If you are swede and live around Stockholm you know about SQO. Maby since you get cheap designer clothes or seen the commercial with its big “fake” logos that make up a world of brands. This time it was decided to make the move with real objects and leave the 3D guys out. A massive amount of styrofoam was ordered and the work of making it hoover started…

Absolut Vodka | No Computer nerding. Pure Analog nerding.

Absolut Vodka has for the first time changed the design of the actual bottle, swedish agency Family Business made this happen. I got contacted by Great Works via Pixlfamily to get involved in a production for the web based campaign. The stills already existed so it was a question of making this 2d material in to something 3D’ish…in a wierd “Make the Present Exceptional” way.

After some days of conceptualizing with Pixel and GW the calculating and testing angles in the studion with sticks and trix started. A big set with loads of cause vs effect stuff was built that would make the 2D in to 3D in a analog way. Nice to ad that no 3D rendering was involved (for those who care) but plenty time of crashing mirrors…

Transition & T-shirt store | Janne & Teddy snake.

Anders Neuman’s calls is the perfect thing to get when you feel like creating. Often short deadline and a freedom to make whatever you what. This time a t-shirt. With the help of the 2nd half of Inteckningsfabriken Jan Andren and a teddy snake the plan was to rip off on the classic McGill graphic “Scull & Snake” and tweak 1980-cool to 2010-kool.

Nixon | BLAM!!!

After the “splash-series” Nixons art-director Michael Carter turned to explosives and Vincent Skoglund Studios was again selected for the job. This meant I got to play with explosions. Simulating explosions after a art-directed sketch is not the simples of missions. Using forbidden firecrackers, 10 liters of liquid nitrogen and lots of tampering with micro bits ‘n pieces the end result turned of really nice.
